Operational Technologies Engineer

About the role

Join Galp's Renewables, New Businesses & Innovation unit as an Operational Technologies Engineer. You will be the central point for all on‑site OT equipment, ensuring reliable real‑time data flow and supporting the monitoring of solar and wind assets across the Iberian Peninsula.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for on‑site OT equipment, maintaining data integrity for real‑time and historical analysis.
• Drive continuous evolution of OT hardware to maximise plant productivity.
• Integrate new assets and retrofits, coordinating validation activities and reporting to stakeholders.
• Support Control Center operations, handling applications, communications and system continuity.
• Participate in specification, design, development and implementation of system functionalities, evaluating latest technologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the renewables sector.
• Hands‑on experience with OEM SCADA systems.
