Operational Buyer – Indirect & Series

About the role

Testo is looking for an Operational Buyer to ensure continuous availability of materials, manage supplier relationships and support procurement processes within its international purchasing team in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee the continuous supply of required materials and components for production.
• Execute purchasing activities such as RFQs, quotation comparisons, purchase order processing, order follow‑up and delivery monitoring.
• Coordinate suppliers, support second‑source initiatives and resolve delivery deviations.
• Procure indirect materials needed for operations and services.
• Maintain purchasing‑related master data and processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders and international teams.
• Support supplier evaluations regarding delivery performance, quality and deadline adherence.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in procurement or supply‑chain roles.
• Structured, detail‑oriented and solution‑driven working style with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
