Online K‑12 Teacher (Elementary to High School) – Remote

About the role

Legacy Online School is seeking qualified, student‑centered educators to deliver live, interactive lessons to K‑12 students worldwide. The position is fully remote and supports a blend of live instruction, self‑paced learning, and personalized support.

Key responsibilities

• Teach engaging live online classes and, when assigned, one‑on‑one lessons across elementary, middle, or high school grades.
• Adapt instruction to diverse learning needs, abilities, and IEP/special‑education requirements.
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Monitor attendance, engagement, assignment completion, and overall student progress.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school colleagues.
• Utilize the school’s Learning Management System (LMS) and other online teaching tools effectively.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, respectful, and motivating virtual classroom environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
• Valid teaching certification or license.
• At least 2 years of K‑12 teaching experience; online teaching experience preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence using educational technology.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with differentiated instruction; special‑education or IEP experience is a plus for relevant roles.

• Proficient use of Learning Management System (LMS) and online teaching platforms.
