Online K‑12 Teacher (Elementary to High School)

About the role

Legacy Online School is seeking qualified, student‑centered educators to deliver live, interactive lessons to an international K‑12 student body. Positions are available for elementary, middle, and high‑school subjects, including core academics, health & physical education, and special‑education support.

Key responsibilities

• Teach engaging live online classes and, when assigned, conduct 1:1 lessons.
• Adapt instruction to diverse learning needs, abilities, and IEP requirements.
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor attendance, engagement, and assignment completion.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school colleagues.
• Utilize the school’s LMS and online teaching tools effectively.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating virtual classroom environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
• Valid teaching certification or license.
• At least 2 years of K‑12 teaching experience; online experience preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence with educational technology.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with differentiated instruction; special‑education or IEP experience is a plus.
