Norwegian Translator

About the role

Epic is seeking a Norwegian Translator to join its Madison, WI campus. The role involves translating software strings, documentation, training materials and European tenders for Epic’s electronic medical records platform.

Key responsibilities

• Translate and localize software user interface text, help content and technical documentation from English into Norwegian.
• Maintain terminology consistency and contribute to the company’s translation memory and glossary.
• Collaborate with implementation, technical support and product teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of translations.
• Participate in quality‑assurance reviews and support long‑term localization projects across clinical, administrative and billing modules.
• Handle fast‑turnaround translation requests while managing larger, complex projects.

Required profile

• Fluent in Norwegian and English with strong written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field.
• Motivation to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI (relocation assistance provided).
