NOC Technician – First Shift

About the role

The NOC Technician on the first shift ensures continuous monitoring of network and telecommunications infrastructure, servers, and applications. Working Friday to Tuesday, the technician provides first‑level support to restore services and maintain SLA compliance for internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor systems, networks, telecommunication devices, servers, applications, and transaction processes across mainframes, Non‑Stop and Open Systems environments.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting to re‑establish services and follow‑up on incidents.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure SLA compliance and timely resolution.
• Be available for after‑hours, weekend, or holiday support as required.

Required profile

• Associate degree or approved credits in Information Systems or Computer Science.
• At least one year of experience diagnosing and repairing communication networks, computers, servers, and operating systems.
• Internal candidates must have a minimum of two years in their current function, a performance rating of Meets Expectations or higher for the past two years, no disciplinary actions in the last year, and compliance with the company’s Code of Ethics.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and servers.
• Strong system diagnosis, troubleshooting, and problem‑resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in monitoring system tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks concurrently.
