Multi-Site Maintenance Engineer – Portugal

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Site Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation, safety and upkeep of our two boutique hotels in Portugal – Quinta da Comporta and Hotel Infante Sagres Porto. Reporting to the Operations Team, you will split your time between Porto and Comporta, overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all hotel equipment and infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water‑treatment and pool systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues.
• Supervise and schedule the maintenance team across both properties.
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance plans and keep accurate technical records.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate external contractors, support renovation projects and control maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to deliver a safe and comfortable guest experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance management.
• Ability to lead a small technical team and organise shift schedules.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Porto and Comporta.

What we offer

• Annual gross salary €40,000‑€55,000, depending on experience.
