Mobile Engineer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

About the role

Teya is building a financial platform for local businesses across Europe and needs a Mobile Engineer to empower small and medium‑sized merchants through its mobile applications. You will develop scalable, secure, and innovative cross‑platform solutions that simplify payments and business management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cross‑platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform, focusing on performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Integrate APIs, SDKs and payment technologies (NFC, EMV) to enable payment acceptance, card issuing and ePOS features.
• Collaborate with design, product and backend teams to deliver intuitive user experiences and support internationalisation.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, logging, observability and clean‑architecture layers (Domain, Application, Infrastructure, Presentation).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, mentor teammates and take part in architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience shipping Kotlin Multiplatform projects with shared business logic.
• Strong background in Android (Kotlin) or iOS development and familiarity with mobile app architecture patterns.
• Experience building SDKs or libraries that other developers consume.
• Understanding of payment processing, NFC technology and secure coding practices for financial applications.
