Technical Support Specialist (Mid-level) – On-site in Porto

About the role

KCS IT is looking for a mid‑level Technical Support Specialist to join its on‑site team in Porto. The role focuses on providing Level 1 & 2 desktop support for both Windows and macOS environments, primarily for clients in the banking and financial sector.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver software and hardware support (Level 1 & 2) for desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
• Handle incident and request tickets using the company’s toolsets.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows, macOS and Microsoft Office/Messaging applications.
• Support mobile platforms (iPhone, tablets, laptops) and ensure smooth OS build processes.
• Produce high‑quality reports and meeting minutes.
• Balance a high‑tempo production environment while contributing to project work.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good negotiation skills and adaptability to changing support needs.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus.
