Mid-Level .NET Full-Stack Developer (Finance Tech)

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Level .NET Full‑Stack Developer to join a leading financial services client in Porto. The role combines software engineering with a deep understanding of banking products, allowing you to contribute to digital transformation projects that improve risk management and financial offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using .NET Core 6.0 and C#.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Manage and optimise relational databases with SQL Server.
• Create automation and reporting scripts in Excel VBA and Access VBA.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile development cycles to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Support integration of Power BI and Python for enhanced data analysis and visualisation.
• Communicate effectively in English with stakeholders and manage workload autonomously.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a full‑stack .NET developer.
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET Core 6.0; Entity Framework is a plus.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational database design.
• Proficiency in Excel VBA and Access VBA scripting.
• Good understanding of financial products and risk management; banking experience is a strong advantage.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and eligibility to work in Europe.
