Mid Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Mid Android Developer to join our Agile team responsible for continuously evolving our Android applications. The position is based in Alfragide with a hybrid work model, offering three days per week on‑site and a shuttle service from Sete Rios.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver new features for Android applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate on technical solutions with autonomy, participating in design discussions.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Take part in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning and task estimation.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and application performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Android mobile development.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency with Android Studio and modern Android architectures such as MVVM.
• Familiarity with Material Design guidelines and ability to work with design tools like Figma.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of Git version control.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities.
