Microsoft System Administrator – AD & Windows Server

About the role

Randstad Group is seeking a Microsoft System Administrator to manage and enhance a global Active Directory and Windows Server environment for a key client. The role combines day‑to‑day operational duties with strategic improvements in security and identity management.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a global Active Directory infrastructure, including users, groups, permissions and GPOs.
• Manage authentication and authorization protocols such as LDAP, Kerberos, SAML and OAuth.
• Provide guidance to internal project teams on AD and identity‑related topics.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows Server platforms.
• Support hybrid identity scenarios integrating Active Directory with Azure AD (Entra ID).
• Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell and contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in on‑call support rotation.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience operating Active Directory in an enterprise setting.
• Solid background in Windows Server administration.
• Experience with hybrid identity solutions (AD + Azure AD/Entra ID).
