Microsoft System Administrator – AD & Windows Server

About the role

Randstad Group is seeking a skilled System Engineer/Administrator to manage Active Directory and Windows Server environments for a key client. You will work on a global AD infrastructure, support hybrid identity solutions, and ensure reliable authentication services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a global Active Directory environment, including users, groups, permissions, and GPOs.
• Manage authentication and authorization protocols such as LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, and OAuth.
• Provide guidance and support to internal project teams on AD and identity‑related topics.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server systems.
• Support hybrid identity scenarios integrating Active Directory with Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell.
• Contribute to security, stability, and operational process improvements.
• Participate in on‑call support rotations.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience operating Active Directory in an enterprise setting.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Experience with hybrid identity (AD + Entra ID/Azure AD).
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth).
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation.
• Structured work approach and ability to handle operational issues.
