About the role
The Microbiology Lab Technician will perform and verify microbiological assays on raw materials, finished products, water, and environmental samples for a leading pharmaceutical client. The role requires strict adherence to established standards and performance guidelines while working in a regulated laboratory environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological testing, including identification of microorganisms, growth promotion, electrophoresis, and phage detection.
- Prepare and verify culture media and microbiological test kits.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment such as pH meters, analytical balances, and filtration devices.
- Work rotating shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Required profile
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Medical Technology, Natural Sciences, Chemistry, or Biology.
- Minimum two years of laboratory experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMP and laboratory best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
