Mechanical Engineer – Heat Pump Development

About the role

Join Bosch Home Comfort’s growing team as a Mechanical Engineer focused on heat‑pump development. You will work in an international, cross‑functional environment to create innovative, low‑price heating and cooling solutions for a sustainable future.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new technical concepts and functions for heat‑pump products, targeting the low‑price segment.
• Test heat‑pump units and components, analyse results and document performance and reliability.
• Define product requirements for heating, cooling and domestic hot‑water systems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including reports, procedures and specifications.
• Support market introduction activities such as testing, certification, documentation and production ramp‑up.
• Apply engineering tools like FMEA, 8D and DRBFM to ensure product robustness and quality.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical product development, especially thermodynamics and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to manage complex system development and work in international, cross‑functional teams.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Analytical, organized and results‑oriented with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• Curious, collaborative and motivated to make a positive impact.
