Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role
Mecanitor is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Lisbon office. The role focuses on creating detailed 2D and 3D models, production drawings, and documentation for sheet‑metal and machine components.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks for sheet metal, weldments, assemblies, and machines.
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and fabrication documentation.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are compatible with laser cutting, CNC bending, and other sheet‑metal processes.
- Support product development from concept through to final manufacturing.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Mid‑level to senior experience in mechanical design.
- Ability to work on‑site in Lisbon, Portugal.
