Manufacturing Digitalization & Industry 4.0 Internship

About the role

This 12‑month extracurricular internship gives you the chance to work side‑by‑side with Bosch's Manufacturing Digitalization team, supporting the Home Comfort division worldwide. You will contribute to the development of an Industry 4.0 platform, automate software deployment, and explore emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and enhancing the Industry 4.0 platform for Bosch Home Comfort.
• Automate deployment operations for manufacturing software across multiple sites.
• Research, trial, and evaluate new Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and cross‑site teams to deliver digital solutions.

Required profile

• Academic background in Engineering (Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics) or Computer Science.
• Strong willingness to learn and a proactive, results‑oriented attitude.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross‑site project environment.

Required skills

• Angular 16+ and TypeScript (Micro Frontend Architecture).
• C# (latest LTS) on .NET platform or Python (Micro‑service Architecture).
• Experience with relational and non‑relational databases.
• Kubernetes or Windows Server environments.
• Monitoring tools such as ElasticSearch, Prometheus, and Splunk.
• CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, SonarQube, and JFrog.
