About the role

Capgemini is seeking a Managing Director to lead the launch of a new Tech Hub in Porto. You will shape the strategic vision, drive growth, and build a high‑performance technology organization that supports sustainable mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s long‑term strategic vision.
• Establish and scale the Tech Hub, including talent strategy, governance, and operating model.
• Drive business growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure efficiency.
• Lead and develop the executive leadership team.
• Act as the primary interface between business, IT, and external partners.
• Ensure strong financial performance, budgeting, and cost management.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
• Promote a high‑performance culture and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate governance standards.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial modeling and business analytics.
• Proven ability to make data‑driven decisions.
• Solid understanding of CRM and ERP systems and their business applications.
• Awareness of digital transformation and technology strategy.
• Experience with KPI tracking, reporting tools, and performance management.
• Experience in large‑scale system implementations and technology organization design.
• Capability in vendor and partnership management.
