Maintenance Technician – Rio Maior

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Rio Maior plant. The role focuses on keeping all production installations running smoothly through preventive and corrective actions. You will work on both electrical and mechanical systems in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on all plant equipment.
• Diagnose and fix electrical breakdowns, modify wiring and installations according to technical drawings.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures, adapt machinery based on plans from engineers or external contractors.
• Maintain documentation of interventions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Required profile

• Technical qualification in electromechanics, industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within an industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Commitment to safety procedures and continuous learning.
