Maintenance & Facilities Engineer

About the role

Modulair / Sandometal is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Engineer to ensure the reliability of production equipment and facility infrastructure. The role focuses on developing and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance programs while supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure overall reliability and performance of plant equipment and maintenance activities.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Utilize CMMS to plan, track, and analyse maintenance work.
• Monitor, analyse, and report maintenance performance KPIs.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations and apply corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, testing activities and maintain mandatory certifications.
• Manage external service providers, including tendering, supervision and quality control.
• Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement and cost control.
• Support sustainability, energy‑efficiency and resource‑optimisation projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance and facilities engineering within an industrial environment.
• Ability to work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and HSE teams.
• Strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing external contractors and service providers.
