Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

Join a fast‑growing multinational manufacturing company as a Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and optimal performance of production equipment, while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximise equipment uptime.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs such as OEE, MTBF, MTTR and downtime trends, and act on improvement opportunities.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for equipment failures and ensure sustainable corrective actions.
• Support troubleshooting of filling, labeling, capping, coding and packaging equipment to minimise production interruptions.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, validation and ramp‑up of new lines and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to improve reliability and process stability.
• Identify automation, modernisation and optimisation opportunities for production assets.
• Maintain maintenance procedures, work instructions, equipment standards and technical documentation.
• Plan, execute and optimise preventive tasks using the CMMS tool Fracttal.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and coordinate external contractors during maintenance interventions.
• Promote TPM initiatives and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and food‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in maintenance engineering within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
