Legal Counsel – Lisbon

About the role

Vantage Towers is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its operations in Portugal. You will work at the strategic intersection of law, business, and regulatory compliance, helping the company navigate a fast‑growing telecom infrastructure market.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear, pragmatic, business‑oriented legal advice on civil law, contract law, and public procurement.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including leases, partnerships, commercial contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Monitor evolving legal and regulatory frameworks and translate changes into actionable guidance for internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, frameworks, and best‑practice guidelines.
• Support compliance with regulatory and group policies, public tender procedures, and certification processes such as ISO 50001 and ESG initiatives.
• Coordinate litigation support in liaison with external counsel.
• Assist with corporate governance activities and contribute to internal training and awareness programs.

Required profile

• University Master’s Degree in Law.
• Strong understanding of civil law, contract law, and public procurement regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations, finance, commercial, and senior leadership teams.
