Legal Counsel – Commercial & General (Portugal)

About the role

Fever is seeking a driven lawyer to join its international in‑house legal team, focusing on Brazil and supporting regional expansion across Portugal and the Iberia region. Reporting to the Lead Counsel IBERIA, you will provide proactive, business‑oriented legal support for commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and revise commercial contracts, terms and conditions in Portuguese and English.
• Support commercial teams during negotiations and deal structuring.
• Research legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritize and manage legal matters.
• Contribute to knowledge management by creating templates, guides and processes.
• Participate in compliance functions and provide product legal advice.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in a Portuguese‑speaking jurisdiction.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional language a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration and emotional intelligence.
• Experience working on international projects or with global teams.
• Adaptable team player eager to learn.
