Legal Counsel – Commercial & General

About the role

Fever is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to support its fast‑growing operations in Portugal and the broader Iberia region. Reporting to the Lead Counsel IBERIA, you will provide business‑oriented legal advice that enables the company’s expansion and protects its commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate Portuguese and English commercial contracts, terms and conditions, and RFP documentation.
• Advise internal teams—including Business Development, Tax, Finance, Product, Originals and Operations—on legal risks and compliance matters.
• Support corporate governance activities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with commercial transactions and regional expansion.
• Collaborate with the broader Legal & Policy team to align legal strategies across Intellectual Property, Privacy, Dispute Resolution and other functional areas.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in commercial law, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an international, fast‑paced tech environment.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical mindset and a hands‑on approach to problem solving.

Required skills

• Contract drafting and negotiation in Portuguese and English.
• Knowledge of commercial law and regulatory frameworks applicable to technology and entertainment sectors.
• Risk assessment and mitigation.
