Legal Counsel – Commercial & Contracts

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel specialized in commercial and IT contracts to join our Shared Services Centre in Porto. You will act as the primary legal point of contact for international stakeholders, ensuring contracts are compliant and aligned with business objectives across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and technology‑related contracts.
• Provide legal and commercial guidance to internal teams on contractual matters.
• Support global stakeholders with contract interpretation and issue resolution.
• Identify and assess legal and business risks, proposing pragmatic solutions.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance topics, including GDPR and data‑protection requirements.
• Assist with preliminary dispute handling.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and records.

Required profile

• Law degree and qualification as a lawyer within an EU jurisdiction.
• 2‑5 years of experience in IT, outsourcing or commercial contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent English and ability to work in an international environment.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and solution‑oriented approach.
