Legal & Accounting Advisor (Advogado / Contabilista)

About the role

RÖDL is seeking a qualified Legal & Accounting Advisor to join its Lisbon office on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The professional will support corporate clients by providing integrated legal advice on labour and employment matters and delivering accounting, tax and audit assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on labour, employment and corporate law, including drafting contracts, policies and company documents.
• Conduct research on Portuguese and international regulations and keep clients informed of relevant changes.
• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements, tax filings and other accounting documentation.
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with local and international standards.
• Negotiate with clients, authorities and other stakeholders on legal and financial issues.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams from legal, tax, advisory and IT departments to deliver holistic solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Accounting or a related field; professional certification or bar admission is a plus.
• Proven experience in labour and employment law, including policy drafting and compliance advice.
• Experience in corporate or professional services environments, preferably with international or German clients.
• Strong analytical, numerical and research abilities with high attention to detail.
• Fluent Portuguese communication; English and/or German proficiency highly beneficial.
