Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

Act as a business‑facing capability and talent development partner, helping leaders and HR identify performance and development needs and translate them into scalable solutions that improve individual, team and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Understand learning needs by collaborating with managers, HR Business Partners and employees.
• Design workshops, learning journeys and digital resources, adapting content for different audiences.
• Facilitate face‑to‑face and virtual training sessions, encouraging participation and linking concepts to real work.
• Coordinate training calendars, communications, participants, internal trainers and external providers while managing logistics and budgets.
• Adapt global and regional programmes for Spain and Portugal, working with colleagues across offices, factories and shared services.
• Support internal trainers and subject‑matter experts in turning knowledge into clear, effective learning sessions.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in learning and development, corporate training or learning consultancy.
• Confidence facilitating adult audiences both in‑person and online.
• Ability to transform complex information into engaging materials and practical activities.
• Strong organization and project‑coordination skills, managing multiple priorities.
• Collaborative approach with proven relationship‑building skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with learning management systems, e‑learning authoring tools, train‑the‑trainer programmes or AI‑assisted content creation.
