Lead Host – Upscale Mediterranean Restaurant

About the role

The Levant Restaurant, part of The Condado Collection, is seeking a Lead Host to oversee the host/hostess team and ensure a seamless seating experience for guests. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering the warm, Mediterranean-inspired hospitality the restaurant is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Manage the reservation system, ensuring accurate and efficient seating arrangements.
• Handle guest inquiries, special seating requests, and resolve issues courteously.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the host/hostess team on service standards and seating procedures.
• Monitor dining room flow, coordinate with servers and kitchen staff, and optimize table turnover.
• Maintain a neat host station and compile seating reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and professional appearance standards.

Required profile

• Hospitality‑oriented with at least 2 years of experience as a host/hostess in an upscale restaurant.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using reservation platforms such as OpenTable.
