Lead Driver

About the role

Dynamxs Logistics is seeking a proactive Lead Driver to guide and support its delivery team. The role blends on‑road leadership with operational assistance, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant daily deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor, train, and support drivers while reinforcing company policies, performance standards, and safety expectations.
• Collaborate with Dispatch and Operations on route assignments, tracking, and on‑the‑road issues.
• Provide rescue assistance, help delayed drivers, and ensure routes are completed safely and efficiently.
• Promote safe driving practices and compliance with traffic laws and Dynamxs/Amazon safety standards.
• Assist drivers with pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any damage or mechanical issues.
• Offer feedback and coaching to improve driver performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Enforce compliance with licensing, operational procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with Dispatch, Operations, and drivers throughout the shift.
• Document operational situations, incidents, driver performance, and any follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Category 4 (or higher) driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Previous experience as a professional driver or Delivery Associate.
• Proven track record of safety, reliability, and strong performance.
• Ability to lead, train, and support other drivers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of delivery safety and compliance practices.
