Lead Cloud Security Consultant – Microsoft Focus

About the role

Devoteam Cyber Trust is building a new Cloud Security Practice and seeks a Lead Cloud Security Consultant with a strong Microsoft focus. You will design, deliver, and scale security engagements across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and related platforms, while also supporting multi‑cloud and CNAPP initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end cloud security projects: Sentinel deployments, Defender XDR rollouts, Defender for Cloud implementations, and Azure security reviews.
• Write and tune KQL queries, analytics rules, and connectors; configure detection policies and guide customers through telemetry and risk insights.
• Assess and improve security controls across Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, Azure workloads, logging/monitoring, and privileged access.
• Translate cyber security requirements into practical configurations, remediation actions, and detection use cases.
• Support multi‑cloud engagements (Google Cloud, AWS) and CNAPP‑related posture improvement work.
• Conduct customer‑facing workshops and create reusable assets for practice scaling.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft security stack (Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID).
• Solid understanding of cloud environments and ability to identify security gaps.
• Experience delivering security assessments, threat hunting, incident response, and detection engineering.
