Lead Buyer – Corporate Services (French Speaker)

About the role

BNP Paribas is seeking a Lead Buyer to support its Corporate Services team in Portugal. The role focuses on managing the purchase of goods and services for French entities, ensuring compliance with internal regulations and achieving cost‑saving targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist French BNP Paribas entities with purchasing requests, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness and timely processing.
• Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) processes or direct negotiations and evaluate supplier offers.
• Negotiate optimal price and contractual terms to meet savings objectives.
• Prepare and review contracts, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory and BNP Paribas standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and facilities management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Procurement Management.
• Fluent in English and French.
