Lab Testing Technologies Engineer – Automation Area

About the role

As a Lab Testing Technologies Engineer you will support the development of next‑generation residential heat‑pump systems. Working from Bosch’s Aveiro R&D centre, you will help standardise and automate testing across several laboratory sites, ensuring fast and reliable product validation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated evaluation methods and testing tools to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Design test‑automation solutions for standardised laboratory testing across multiple locations.
• Create and validate test‑bench interfaces for heat‑pump appliances and system components.
• Perform functional and performance testing of heat‑pump systems and components.
• Analyse test data and operational performance of heat‑pump units.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation such as test reports, procedures and work instructions.
• Support the upkeep and improvement of laboratory equipment and test infrastructure.
• Assist in the specification, set‑up and commissioning of test rigs and laboratory facilities.

Required profile

• Ability to work in cross‑functional product development teams.
• Experience with functional and performance testing of heat‑pump systems.
