Junior Software Engineer – C#/.NET (Lisbon)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing Hiscox Re engineering team in Lisbon. This hybrid position is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience who enjoy modern software development, cloud technologies, and collaborative Agile environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET applications.
• Work with Azure cloud services and SQL databases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile setting.
• Suggest improvements, build proof‑of‑concepts, and experiment with new technologies.
