Junior Service Desk Technician - User Support

About the role

Wire IT is seeking a Junior Service Desk Technician to provide user support on‑site in Funchal, Madeira. You will join an agile, people‑centered team and contribute to delivering reliable IT services for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line user support and resolve IT incidents.
• Log and track service requests using the company ticketing system.
• Escalate complex problems to senior technicians as needed.

Required profile

• Education: 12th grade in Science and Technology, Computer Science degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• More than 3 years of experience in a similar field.
• Training in basic cybersecurity fundamentals and advanced cybersecurity training.

Required skills

• Basic cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Advanced cybersecurity knowledge.
