Junior Product Engineer

About the role

RTE, a leading company in the bicycle industry, is looking for a Junior Product Engineer to support the development and industrialisation of e‑bike and push‑bike products. You will work closely with product and project management teams to bring new models from concept to production and oversee their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support new product industrialisation projects, aligning customer requirements with production, quality and supply‑chain milestones.
• Analyse customer specifications and translate them into clear technical documentation for manufacturing.
• Maintain product documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.
• Validate and implement product changes, ensuring accurate MOBOM updates in production.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define technical solutions that guarantee production stability and compliance.
• Identify and contribute to process‑efficiency initiatives during new model roll‑out and serial production.
• Provide daily technical support to the production floor, delivering structured responses to product or assembly issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities; fluency in English is mandatory.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for the cycling industry.
• Basic understanding of product development and supply‑chain management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related productivity tools.
