Junior Legal Counsel – Privacy, Tech & Compliance

About the role

Join Promptly’s Legal Team as a Junior Legal Counsel focused on privacy, technology and compliance. You will support day‑to‑day legal operations across multiple jurisdictions and product lines, working closely with the Legal Lead and cross‑functional teams such as engineering, data science, clinical, security and product.

Key responsibilities

• Run the daily activities of Promptly’s data‑protection programme and act as the primary internal point of contact for privacy matters.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, data‑processing agreements and other commercial documents.
• Provide legal advice to product, engineering and commercial teams to ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
• Monitor regulatory developments in health‑tech, data protection and medical device law and communicate implications.
• Support the Legal Lead in managing litigation, investigations and third‑party requests.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) with an interest in privacy, technology and health‑care compliance.
• Early‑career professional comfortable handling real matters under supervision.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GDPR and European data‑protection regulations.
• Experience with privacy‑by‑design principles and data‑processing agreements.
• Contract drafting and review.
