About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Help Desk Technician to join our IT team at the client headquarters in Lisbon. The role serves as the first point of contact for internal users, providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position offers early‑career professionals hands‑on experience in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line technical support to internal users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems efficiently or escalate when needed.
- Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment.
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and software installations.
- Maintain accurate records of IT inventory and support tickets.
- Travel occasionally to client offices across Portugal to deliver on‑site assistance, maintenance, or equipment deployment.
Required profile
- 0–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar role (entry‑level candidates welcome).
- Coursework or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (a plus).
- Valid Category B driver’s licence.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication, and a customer‑oriented attitude.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
- Hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic networking concepts.
