Junior Full Stack Developer (Angular & NestJS)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to join a technology transformation project for a digital platform serving the automotive industry. The position is based in Aveiro, Portugal and works on‑site within a cloud‑native environment on Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features using Angular under guidance of senior engineers.
• Implement backend services with NestJS/Node.js, following architectural standards.
• Assist in database optimisation and query improvement for PostgreSQL.
• Support API standardisation, middleware integration and data‑flow enhancements.
• Apply code‑quality, modularity and maintainability best practices progressively.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Development or related field (recent graduates welcome).
• 1‑3 years of full‑stack development experience, including academic projects or internships.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Interest in cloud architectures (GCP) and containerisation (Docker).
• Full professional fluency in English.
• Based in or near Aveiro, or willing to relocate for on‑site work.
