Junior Consultant – Development Consultancy

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Junior Consultant to join its Technical Advisory team in Lisbon. The role supports banks, investment funds and institutional clients by monitoring real‑estate development and construction projects, ensuring compliance and protecting client interests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent monitoring services for real‑estate and construction projects on behalf of financial institutions.
• Review project documentation, budgets, schedules and contracts to identify risks and verify compliance with technical and urban‑planning regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess construction progress, quality, and potential delays or cost overruns.
• Prepare concise monitoring reports that highlight key risks, recommendations and required actions.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (Master’s degree in Architecture is a plus).
• 1–2 years of professional experience, preferably in consultancy or real‑estate.
• Full professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Spain and occasionally abroad.
