Junior Accounting Technician – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounting Technician to join our finance team in Santarém. This is an entry‑level position aimed at recent graduates who want to start a career in accounting and benefit from structured training and development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, classify and enter vendor accounting documents.
• Assist in checking and reconciling general ledger accounts and sub‑ledgers.
• Support the analysis of bank reconciliations.
• Help prepare financial statements, monthly reports and management analyses.

Required profile

• Higher education in Accounting, Economics or Management (recent graduate).
• Enjoy teamwork and have a proactive attitude.
• Good user‑level IT knowledge.
• Fluent written and spoken English (additional languages are a plus).
• Flexibility to perform analysis and contribute to ad‑hoc projects.
• Willingness to learn and meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excel skills (considered a bonus).
