Java Developer – Back-end (Hybrid)

About the role

Join Aubay Portugal as a Java Developer working on critical back‑end systems for large organisations in banking, insurance, telecommunications and energy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications with a focus on back‑end components.
• Work with relational databases (DB2 or Oracle) to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Utilize version control systems (TFS, Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins) throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of Java development experience, preferably back‑end.
• Experience working in Agile development contexts.
• Proactive, dynamic, resilient and curious with strong communication skills.
• Alignment with corporate culture, integrity and strong customer focus.
