Java Backend Developer (French Required)

About the role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer who will join our Porto office and work on diverse client projects. The role requires daily use of both English and French and offers a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java‑based backend services using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Implement micro‑service architectures and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Write unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non‑relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support clients across various sectors.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of proven experience as a backend developer.
• Fluent spoken and written English and French.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work in a team.
