Italian-speaking Legal Advisor – Lisbon (6-month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an Italian‑speaking Legal Advisor to join a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy in Lisbon on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role will support the organisation’s compliance function by acting as the primary point of contact with external legal representatives, regulatory bodies and enforcement agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between the company and external legal representatives, regulatory agencies and enforcement bodies.
• Manage and respond to inquiries from national regulatory authorities overseeing industry‑specific regulations.
• Review, process and ensure accuracy of documentation related to legal and regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with internal legal officers and external lawyers to gather case information and assist in preparing responses or reports.
• Monitor progress of ongoing cases, ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving disputes and compliance issues before they escalate to formal legal proceedings.

Required profile

• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Background in law, regulatory compliance or related field.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities or in a BPO/outsourcing environment is advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse legal documents and ensure adherence to guidelines.
