IT Service Desk Specialist (German & English)

About the role

Join Aubay Portugal as an IT Service Desk Specialist providing first‑level support to end‑users in both German and English. You will be the first point of contact for incident management, ensuring smooth operation of critical IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st level IT support, handling incidents and service requests.
• Register, classify, prioritize and remotely troubleshoot reported issues.
• Document resolution steps and maintain data quality in ServiceDesk tools (Helpline, ServiceNow) and the knowledge base.
• Manage user accounts, groups and access rights in Active Directory and related systems.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate technical teams.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery and improve user satisfaction.

Required profile

• Fluency in German (B2+) and English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Service Desk role.
• Completed or ongoing degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or a related field.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities and empathy.
• Alignment with corporate values of integrity, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Active Directory (AD) management.
• Microsoft Azure basics.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• ServiceDesk tools such as Helpline and ServiceNow.
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
