IT Project Manager – Mobility Business

About the role

Siemens Mobility is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join the Train Planning System (TPS) department. You will lead a product‑driven software development project, working closely with product management, development teams, and international Siemens entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and manage a TPS project within a complex matrix organization.
• Provide technical leadership for the project team.
• Develop project plans, status reports, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Monitor progress, maintain information flow, and guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Present results to sponsors and stakeholders clearly and confidently.
• Manage project costs and budget to meet financial targets.
• Support sales and bid activities by identifying new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing complex technical projects, preferably in software or transportation.
• Independent, structured, and goal‑oriented work style.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
