IT Help Desk Technician

About the role

Spektrum is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Brussels. The role involves providing first‑ and second‑level technical assistance to end users during daily operations and NATO exercises, ensuring reliable IT services for critical defence communications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level and second‑level support to end users for daily business activities and NATO exercises/operations preparation.
• Manage incidents, fulfilment requests and change requests using the ITSM ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues on Windows client machines.
• Document incidents, resolutions and knowledge‑base articles in accordance with agency procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering first‑ and second‑level IT support in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with NATO or other defence‑related IT environments is a plus.
• Ability to work with end users and coordinate with technical teams during exercises and operations.

Required skills

• Windows client operating systems.
• ITSM ticketing platforms (incident, request and change management).
• Hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
• Incident documentation and knowledge‑base creation.
