IT Help Desk and Desktop Support Technician

About the role

We are seeking an IT Help Desk and Desktop Support Technician to provide first‑level technical support and ensure smooth operation of computers, workstations, phones, peripherals and other technology equipment in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, install, configure and maintain computers, workstations, phones and peripherals.
• Provide Level 1 technical support, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, applications, peripherals and connectivity issues.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps and resolutions; escalate complex issues to specialized teams.
• Install and configure operating systems, applications and support Microsoft 365, network connectivity, telephony and remote‑access tools.
• Assist with user account setup, access management and device security; maintain accurate technology inventory.
• Support technology setup and testing for new hires, training sessions, implementations and client operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in IT technical support, Help Desk or Desktop Support.
• Hands‑on experience installing and configuring computers, operating systems, applications and peripherals.
• Experience supporting environments with at least 50 workstations or users.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, computer networks and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of device security, user access administration and IT asset management.
