IT Business Manager – Client Portfolio & Team Lead

About the role
Extia is looking for an IT Business Manager to join its Lisbon office. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of key IT clients in Portugal while leading a team of consultants.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and expand the Business Unit by prospecting new clients and managing existing accounts.
- Conduct client meetings, negotiate contracts, and ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
- Collaborate with HR to interview and place consultants on suitable projects.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of approximately thirty consultants, with the possibility to mentor junior Business Managers.
- Report on business performance and market trends in the Portuguese IT sector.
Required profile
- Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Business, Engineering or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of experience as a Business Manager in a consulting firm or the IT sector.
- Strong understanding of the Portuguese IT market.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; French is a plus.
