IT Administrator – Support & Systems Management

About the role

INSCALE is looking for an IT Administrator to provide first and second‑line technical support and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT Manager to ensure hardware, software, and network services run smoothly for employees in Lisbon and other locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote support for Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, VPN, printers and conferencing tools.
• Manage incidents and service requests in the ITSM ticketing system, ensuring proper categorisation, prioritisation and timely resolution.
• Administer user lifecycle in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID/Active Directory, including accounts, groups, licences, mailboxes and Teams/SharePoint permissions.
• Prepare, image, configure (Intune or similar) and recover devices for onboarding and off‑boarding, maintaining asset inventory.
• Support LAN, Wi‑Fi and VPN connectivity, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Ensure endpoint security compliance (disk encryption, antivirus/EDR, updates, MFA) and promote security awareness.
• Assist with routine system administration tasks such as patching and backup verification.
