Insurance Agent – Life & Disability Sales

About the role

Triple‑S is looking for an Insurance Agent to sell individual life and disability policies in the San Juan area. You will be responsible for generating new business, collecting premiums, and supporting clients throughout the claims process.

Key responsibilities

• Sell life and disability insurance policies on an assigned route.
• Collect outstanding premiums from policyholders and record daily transactions.
• Deposit collected premiums each day into the company‑provided bank account.
• Attend manager‑led meetings to report sales results and collection performance.
• Act as the primary communication link between the company and clients.
• Assist clients with filing claims and follow up on claim processing.
• Perform other duties related to sales and premium collection as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or commercial technical course.
• At least six months of experience in insurance sales or premium collection.
• Active Life Insurance and/or Disability Insurance license issued by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico.
